Overview
The Tenant Payment Methods control which payment methods a single tenant can use. The setting can be found on a tenant profile, under the Payment Methods tab. Each payment method has a switch. When a method is switched off, that tenant can no longer use it to pay.
This gives facility staff a way to set a payment policy for a single tenant without affecting the payment options for the entire facility.
Prerequisites
Manage Tenant Payment Settings (Payment Configuration) permission at the Facility level.
ℹ️ Info: Some options from this article may be hidden or disabled if your account does not have the required permission. Contact your administrator to request access.
Step 1: Open the Tenants List
Tenant profiles are managed at the facility level, so start by selecting the correct facility.
Click the Facility Switcher at the top of the screen and select a facility.
Click Tenants in the left sidebar.
The List of All Current Tenants page opens.
Step 2: Open a Tenant Profile
The Tenant Payment Methods are part of each tenant's profile.
The tenant profile opens on the Overview tab.
Step 3: Open the Payment Methods Tab
The list of allowed payment methods sits behind the settings icon on the Payment Methods tab.
Click the Payment Methods tab at the top of the tenant profile.
Click the settings icon (gear) in the top right corner of the page.
The Payment Methods panel opens on the right side of the screen. It lists each payment method with a switch.
Step 4: Enable or Disable Tenant Payment Methods
Each switch controls whether the tenant can use that payment method or not.
Turn the switch on for each method the tenant is allowed to use.
Turn the switch off for each method the tenant is not allowed to use. In this example, we switch Check and Cash off.
ℹ️ Info: This setting applies to one tenant only. Facility-level payment settings control which payment methods the whole facility accepts.
ℹ️ Info: All payment methods are enabled by default. There is no minimum, so any or all of them can be switched off.
💡Tip: If a method is missing, enable it first in Payment Settings, then come back to this panel.
Step 5: Save the Changes
The new payment policy takes effect only after saving.
That is it. This tenant can now pay only with the methods that are switched on.
