Why Does the Move-In or Transfer Pro Rate to the End of the Month When I am Configured for Anniversary Billing?

Anniversary billing does not allow a paid-through date of the 28th, 29th, or 30th unless it is the last day of the month. This prevents billing conflicts in shorter months like February, so move-ins and transfers on those days pro rate to month-end.

We do not allow for PTD to be the 28th, 29th, or 30th unless that is the last day of the month. This is to ensure proper monthly billing on anniversary billing. For example, assume someone moves in on the 29th. We would need to bill on the 29th every month except February, which would need to switch to the 28th or the 1st. To avoid any conflicts or legal issues, we made the call early on to not allow 28th, 29th, or 30th as PTD during move in unless it is the last day of the month. For these days, we require the pro-rate to bring the PTD to the end of the month.
