Overview
This article walks you through charging fees to active leases using the Lease Fees Import Template. Download the template for the facility you're working in, update it with the fees you want to charge to leases within that facility, and import it back into the platform.
Prerequisites
Before you start, confirm the following are in place. These conditions are configured at the Corporate level:
The Lease permission on your role has Read Lease Fees Import and Import Lease Fees enabled for the desired facility (navigate to the Corporate level > Users > Roles&Permissions > select your role > select your facility from the sidebar section > find Lease section > enable Read Lease Fees Import and Import Lease Fees).
The one-time fees you want to charge are assigned to the facility that contains the leases you want to update.
Step 1: Download the Lease Fees Import Template
On the facility's Active Leases page, download the CSV Lease Fees Import Template which you will populate.
Navigate to the facility that contains the leases you want to charge fees to.
Click Leases in the sidebar menu. The Active Leases page opens.
Navigate to the Export Data or Templates button and click it.
Select Lease Fees Import Template from the drop-down menu. The template downloads to your device.

Step 2: Fill In the Template
Open the downloaded template and enter the integer true or false value of each fee you want to charge to leases.
Open the downloaded template in your spreadsheet application.
Enter the integer
true/falsevalue of each fee you want to charge to a specific lease in the relevant fields.Save the file.
ℹ️ Info 1: The template's starting content depends on the facility's fees. If no fees are assigned to the facility, the template is empty. If fees are assigned to the facility, the template is already populated with those fees, and you fill in the true/false or yes/no value of each fee. Leaving a cell empty assigns a value of false or no by default.
ℹ️ Info 2: In the downloaded template, the column UnitNumber represents the active lease you want to charge fees to.
Step 3: Import the Completed File
Upload your completed template back into QuikStor to start the lease import.
Return to the Active Leases page.
Navigate to the Import Data button and click it.
Select Lease Fees from the drop-down menu.
