Overview
QuikStor stores every certified letter you send, along with its tracking number, in Mail Status. Mail Status is available under Document Center at both the Corporate level and the individual Facility level, depending on your permissions. This article walks you through using the tracking number to retrieve proof of delivery from USPS (United States Postal Service) and save it as a record you can keep on file.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure the following conditions are met:
Your role has the Read Mail Status permission - the company-level one for the Corporate view, or the facility-level one for a single Facility. Without it, the page shows a No Permissions message instead of the mail list.
Mail House is enabled for your company. If it is not, please contact our Support team.
For the facility view, a mail sender must be configured for that facility - Facility Address section needs to be configured. Without it, the Mail Status option is hidden from the facility sidebar.
The letter was sent as certified mail - either Certified NRR (No Return Receipt) or Certified ERR (Electronic Return Receipt). A tracking number is only generated for these two classes, not for standard First Class Mail. You can confirm the class in the info popup described below.
ℹ️ Info: The letter does not need to show a status of Completed. USPS assigns the tracking number early in the process, so it is usually available while the letter is still Printing or Processed.
Steps
Follow these steps to retrieve and save proof of delivery for a certified letter.
Navigate to the Facility switcher and select Switch to Corporate.
In the sidebar menu click on Document Center option.
Select Mail Status from the drop-down menu. Mail Status page loads.
Locate the row for the tenant and document you need.
Navigate to the info icon at the far right side of the located row and click or hover over it to get the popup info with the tracking number.
Click the tracking number to copy it.

ℹ️ Info: QuikStor stores the document and tracking number indefinitely, but it does not automatically pull proof of delivery from USPS. Completing these steps is what creates that record for your files.
Once you have copied the tracking number, paste it into your browser. On the USPS tracking page, confirm the delivery date and status shown. You can print the page to PDF to save it as your proof-of-delivery record.
ℹ️ Info: Save this PDF somewhere outside QuikStor. USPS only keeps the tracking page available for about 6 months, so the page itself will no longer be accessible after that window closes.
