New Features

Automated Nightly Journal Entry Push to Sage Intacct

The daily export and import by hand are gone - your journal entries reach Sage Intacct on their own.

Before: every day, for every facility, staff exported the journal entry report from QuikStor and imported the CSV into Sage Intacct by hand.

Now: after each day closes, during the facility's overnight processing, QuikStor sends that day's completed journal entries straight to Sage Intacct through the API. The prior day's books are ready before you open - with no daily export or import.

Sage Intacct integration: before and after changes

One-time setup: before the nightly push can run for a facility, connect that facility once in Accounting → Integrations - enter its Sage Intacct Web Services credentials and map its accounts. After that, the push runs on its own every night.

Read and Unread Status on Received Emails

A clearer inbox for every facility.

Staying on top of tenant email is part of running a facility well - a missed message can mean a missed move-in, a delayed response, or a frustrated tenant. But a shared inbox fills up fast, and until now the Received tab gave no way to tell, at a glance, which emails were new and which had already been handled.

QuikStor has long centralized every facility's email under Communication (Emails). We've now made that inbox easier to use day-to-day. On the Received tab, unread emails are visually distinguished from read ones, so what's new stands out immediately:

  • Unread emails are highlighted the moment they land in the list.

  • An email is marked as read as soon as it's opened - no extra clicks.

  • Read status is shared across the facility, so the whole team sees one consistent picture.

Unread emails appear in bold; once opened, the subject switches to regular text

The result is a faster, clearer inbox where new mail is obvious and nothing quietly slips through.

Resend a Previously Sent Email

Send the same message again, in one click.

Emails don't always land. A message can bounce, get filtered, or simply be missed - and until now, following up meant rewriting the email from scratch. You can now resend an exact copy of a message you've already sent, without recreating it.

You can resend from the Sent tab of Communication (Emails), which works the same way at both the Corporate and Facility levels. Open a sent message, and it appears in the Sent Email drawer, where you can review it - including its delivery status (for example, Delivered or Bounced) - and select Resend Mail. At Facility level, the Sent tab shows only that facility's messages; the steps are otherwise identical.

The Resend button at the Corporate level

At the Facility level, you can also start a resend from a tenant's Communication tab. Open the conversation with a tenant and select the resend icon beneath any sent message - this opens the same Sent Email drawer, where you select Resend Mail.

The Resend button at the Facility level

Heads up: Resend sends the same message that was originally sent. It does not refresh any data - balances, dates, and other details show the values from the original send, not today's. If the information has changed, send a new email instead.

Platform Improvements

Mass Notifications Disabled Until SMS and Email Channels are Configured

Only the channels a facility can actually use are offered.

Mass notifications now match each facility's setup, so you won't send to a channel that can't deliver. SMS sending is available only when the facility has a phone number; email sending is available only when it has an assigned email address. Facilities with both keep using both as before.

Facilities with neither channel configured, both Email to Tenants and SMS to Tenants options are greyed out

Heads up: If SMS or email is unavailable for a facility, its channel setup is incomplete. Contact your administrative support to add the missing phone number or email address, so the channel becomes available again.

Enhancements

Selected Facility Kept Across Tabs on Template Assignment Screen

Pick a facility once and work through every template category without re-selecting it.

Until now, each tab in Template Assignment kept its own facility selection. Moving between the Trigger, Lease, Manual, and Mass Notification tabs reset the facility selector, so you had to pick the same facility again on every tab.

We've changed this so your selected facility is held across the whole screen. Switch tabs, and QuikStor keeps that facility selected and loads its assignments for the tab you land on. Changing the facility instead of the tab keeps you on your current tab, and the facility list - along with anything you've typed into its search - stays in place instead of reloading.

This means you can select one facility and review and assign every template category in a single pass, instead of re-picking it each time you switch tabs.

Heads up: If the facility you have selected isn't available on the tab you switch to, QuikStor selects the first facility in that tab's list and carries that selection forward. On tabs where your facility isn't offered, the loaded facility can change - check the selector after switching if you're relying on a specific facility.
