Whenever any new functionality or permissions are delivered in a new release, the permissions associated to the new functionality are defaulted to off for all roles. This is to ensure that we don't inadvertently enable something for a user that they should not have access to. If you can't see any of the functionality explained below in your system, please make sure to have your System Administrator turn on permissions for the specific functionality. We’re excited to announce another production release. A rundown of new features, improvements, and bug fixes in this release is outlined below.
Daily Competitive Pricing Data
We’ve partnered with StorTrack to provide daily competitive pricing data within QuikStor. Simply select the competitors whose pricing you want to track for each of your facilities, and QuikStor will pull data daily. Say goodbye to doing your own competitive pricing analysis.

Credit Card Payments in Canada
We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially launched credit card payments in Canada. We now offer seamless credit card processing integration with a leading processor, giving our customers in Canada a fully integrated experience within QuikStor.
Pro Data Key Integration
We’ve added another access control system to our list of integrations. QuikStor now integrates with Pro Data Key (PDK) and supports PDK’s lineup of keypads.
SMS Opt-In and Opt-Out
In QuikStor, tenants have always been able to opt out of receiving text messages by replying STOP to any message. We’ve expanded SMS preference management in several ways:
Tenants can now opt out directly in the tenant portal.
Users can now opt tenants out directly within the QuikStor application.
Now, you and your tenants can easily manage SMS communication preferences in more places.
Miscellaneous Enhancements
Desirability Rank
We’ve added a unit attribute to manage the desirability of your units within specific groups or across all units. This can be helpful for certain revenue management integrations, or if you want to distinguish between the desirability of individual units.
Default Unit View
Previously, the default unit view on the Units screen for any facility was the Unit List view. Now, the system remembers which unit view you last used (List, Map, or Groups), so you’ll return to your preferred view the next time you visit.
Facility Search Enhancement
You can now search for facilities by name or facility code. This was requested by larger operators who need to quickly access a specific facility by code.
Reports
Renamed Journal Entries and Journal Entries by Day Reports
In preparation for an upcoming feature that will allow you to customize Journal Entries reports, we’ve renamed the existing reports:
Journal Entries → Journal Entries with Account Detail
Journal Entries by Day → Journal Entries by Day with Account Detail
These reports will continue to show the full account breakdown. A future release will introduce customization options for how accounts are grouped in Journal Entries reporting. When that feature is released, your customizable reports will use the original names: Journal Entries and Journal Entries by Day.
Coverage Activity Report
At customer request, we updated some calculations on the Coverage Activity Report. As a result, you will no longer see v2 or v3 versions. The report is now presented as a single, final version.
Coverage Roll Report
We added additional information to the top section of the report to give you a quick view of how well coverage plans are penetrating across leases.
New Payments Detail Report
This customer-requested report provides a breakdown of every payment and the charges that payment covered in an easy-to-read format.
New Daily Payments by Category Report
This customer-requested report is similar to the Daily Payments by Type report. However, instead of breaking down payments by method, it breaks them down by revenue category.
PDF Report Export Enhancements
Based on customer feedback, we made improvements to PDF exports for various reports to enhance readability and reduce length. These updates reduce white space, increase font sizes, and keep certain reports to a single page for easier printing and review.
API Additions and Enhancements
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/reports/coverage-activity
Returns the full policy activity portion of the Coverage Activity report. This endpoint is especially useful for insurance providers who need to pull coverage activity for customers using QuikStor.
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/leases/{leaseId}/overlock-overview
Returns overlock overview information for a specific lease.
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/units/{unitNumber}/delinquency-overview
Returns the active delinquency process for a specific unit.
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/end-users/{endUserId}/balance-due
Returns a tenant’s balance across all leases, including a list of unpaid charges.
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/end-users/{endUserId}/leases/{leaseId}/balance-due
Returns a tenant’s balance for a single lease, including a list of unpaid charges.
PATCH /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/unit-group/{unitTypeId}/street-rates
Updates the street rate for every unit in a specified unit group.
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/end-users/{endUserId}/leases/{leaseId}/payment-history
Returns the full payment history for a given lease.
GET, PATCH /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/units/{unitNumber}/desirability-rank
Allows you to read and update the desirability rank for a given unit.
General Bug Fixes and Improvements
Last, but certainly not least, we fixed a number of issues throughout the software. Thank you to everyone who reported bugs, which helps us address them quickly.
