Overview
Saving filter values is useful for daily views you rely on, such as a delinquency call list or a vacant-unit shortlist.
This article shows you how to apply filters, save them, and confirm that the saved filter is active. Therefore, every time you return to the List of All Units page, the same Unit Filter Bar preferences will be active.
Step 1: Navigate to the List of All Units page
Start from the QuikStor main dashboard. Since the Unit Filter Bar is located on the List of All Units page, you need to go there.
Select a facility using the Facility Switcher at the top of your page.
Click Units in the left sidebar.
Confirm that the List of All Units page opens.
Step 2: Locate the Unit Filter Bar and Save Filter Icon
The Unit Filter Bar sits directly below the List of All Units page title and above the unit list.
Locate the Unit Filter Bar as the horizontal toolbar directly below the page title.
Identify the gear icon at the end of the Unit Filter Bar that represents the Save Filter.
Step 3: Apply Filter Values
Select filters and their values according to your needs. In this example, we will list occupied delinquent units.
Click the Status Filter and select Occupied.
Click outside the Status dropdown to close it.
Click the Delinquent Filter and select Yes.
Click outside the Delinquent dropdown to close it.
Confirm the unit list now shows only occupied units with a past-due tenant.
ℹ️ Info: Filter names turn blue once their values are selected. The blue label is a quick visual cue that the filter is active.
ℹ️ Info: The Active Filter is turned on by default.
Step 4: Save the Filter Combination
Saving stores the current filter combination for your user account on this facility.
Locate the gear icon on the right side of the Unit Filter Bar.
Click the gear icon to open its menu, then select Save.
Confirm that a green check mark appears on the gear icon. The check mark indicates that the filter values are saved.
The green check mark stays visible for as long as the saved filter is active. The next time you open the List of All Units page, the saved filter combination applies automatically, and the unit list shows the same delinquency call list without any manual filtering.
⚠️ Warning: When the gear icon shows a green check mark, the List of All Units page is filtered - not complete. To view all units, open the Filter & Sort Preferences menu and click Reset.
⚠️ Warning: A saved filter is stored per user profile and applies to every facility that profile opens. Other users are not affected. Reset clears the saved filter for all facilities at once - it is not possible to keep it on some facilities and remove it from others.
