Overview
A Flagged Note is a message attached to a specific unit that appears as a pop-up window every time the unit's page is opened. It serves as a reminder for facility staff, keeping damages, ongoing issues, and other unit-specific notes visible at all times.
Once the issue described in the Flagged Note is resolved, the pop-up is no longer needed on that unit. Deleting the Flagged Note removes the pop-up while preserving the note itself for future reference.
Prerequisites
A Flagged Note exists on a unit.
The issue described in the Flagged Note is resolved.
Step 1: Open the Unit With the Flagged Note
Start on the main Dashboard and navigate to the unit that carries the Flagged Note you want to remove.
Click the Facility Switcher in the upper-left corner of the page and select a facility.
Click Units in the left sidebar to open the List of All Units page.
Locate the unit that contains the Flagged Note.
Click the Unit Number to open the Unit Overview page.
Read the Flagged Note, then click Close & Continue to open the Unit Overview page.
ℹ️ Info: A Flagged Note appears as a pop-up each time you open the Unit Overview, so you never miss the message.
Step 2: Open the Flagged Note Option Menu
The Delete option is available from the three-dot menu inside the Flagged Note section. Open the menu to access it.
On the right side of the Unit Overview page, locate the Flagged Note section. The section displays the current note content along with the Last Modified by information.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper-right corner of the Flagged Note section. A small menu opens with two options: Update and Delete.
ℹ️ Info: The three-dot menu only appears when a Flagged Note already exists on the unit.
Step 3: Select Delete Option
Select the Delete option to start the removal flow.
Click Delete. A confirmation pop-up opens with the message "Are you sure you want to Unflag the note?"
Click Unflag the Note to confirm.
ℹ️ Info: Deleting a Flagged Note does not erase it. The note is preserved in the Notes section on the same Unit Overview page, where they remain available for future reference.
