Overview
Online Availability controls whether a unit can be rented or reserved through the QuikStor Tenant Portal. It is normally set on one unit at a time from the Unit Setup page, using the Available for Rental Online and Available for Reservation Online toggles.
This article explains how to set Online Availability for many units at once using a CSV template imported from the List of All Units page.
Prerequisites
Units that will receive Online Availability values already exist at a facility.
Step 1: Navigate to the Units Page
To start importing Online Availability in bulk, navigate to the List of All Units page.
Search the facility using the Facility Switcher.
Click Units in the left side menu. The List of All Units page opens and displays every unit at the selected facility.
Step 2: Download the Unit Online Availability Template
The Unit Online Availability Template lists every unit at the facility and provides columns where Online Availability values can be entered for each one.
Click the Export icon (down arrow) in the upper-right corner of the List of All Units page.
Click Unit Online Availability in the Export Templates dropdown. The CSV file is downloaded to your device.
Step 3: Review the Unit Online Availability Template
The downloaded template contains three columns. Each column controls a specific part of the Online Availability configuration for the unit listed in that row.

UnitNumber | Yes | The unique number of an existing unit at the facility. |
IsAvailableForRentalOnline | Yes | TRUE or FALSE. |
IsAvailableForReservationOnline | Yes | TRUE or FALSE. |
⚠️ Warning: Do not modify the UnitNumber column. The system uses this value to match each row to an existing unit. If a UnitNumber is missing or changed, the row fails validation, and the import cannot be completed.
⚠️ Warning: IsAvailableForRentalOnline and IsAvailableForReservationOnline are mandatory columns. A row with an empty value in either column fails validation.
Step 4: Fill in the Unit Online Availability Template
Enter TRUE or FALSE values in each Online Availability column for every unit in the template.
Enter TRUE or FALSE in IsAvailableForRentalOnline for each unit.
Enter TRUE or FALSE in IsAvailableForReservationOnline for each unit.
Click Save to confirm the changes.
ℹ️ Info: TRUE makes the unit available for rental and/or reservation online, while FALSE makes it unavailable.
Step 5: Upload the Template
Once the template is filled in, upload it from the List of All Units page.
Click the Import Data icon (up arrow) in the upper-right corner of the List of All Units page.
Click Unit Online Availability in the Import Data dropdown.
In the Import Data pop-up window, drag the CSV file into the upload area or click Browse to select it from the device.
Click Upload File. The system opens a preview screen in QuikStor titled Unit Online Availability, showing every row in the file.
Step 6: Review the Imported Unit Online Availability Values
The preview screen displays each row with its Unit Number, Available for Rental Online, and Available for Reservation Online values. Use this screen to verify values and correct errors before completing the import.
Open the Available for Rental Online dropdown for each row and select Yes or No.
Open the Available for Reservation Online dropdown for each row and select Yes or No.
Click the minus icon at the end of a row to remove that row from the import.
ℹ️ Info: Rows with validation errors are highlighted in red, and the total error count is displayed in the upper-right corner.
Step 7: Complete the Import
Once all values are correct, complete the import:
Click Upload CSV in the lower-right corner of the preview screen.
In the Approve Unit Online Availability Import pop-up window, click Approve Import to apply the changes.
The Online Availability values are applied to the listed units. On the Unit Setup page, the Available for Rental Online and Available for Reservation Online toggles appear enabled for units set to TRUE and disabled for units set to FALSE.
