Deactivate a Delinquency Template

Learn how to deactivate a Delinquency Template.

Overview

A Delinquency Template cannot be deleted - QuikStor uses deactivation instead. A template that a company no longer uses stays on the Delinquency Templates list with the Inactive status.

An inactive delinquency template is no longer available for new assignments. However, facility staff can return it to the Active status at any time.

This article explains how to deactivate a Delinquency Template.

Prerequisites

  • Your account has the Edit Template permission at the Corporate level.

  • An active Delinquency Template exists at the Corporate level.

  • No active delinquency process uses the template.

ℹ️Info: Some options from this article may be hidden or disabled if your account does not have the required permission. Contact your administrator to request access.

Step 1: Switch to the Corporate Level

Delinquency Templates are managed at the Corporate level.

  1. In the top navigation bar, click the Facility Switcher.

  2. Select Corporate.

Step 2: Open the Delinquency Templates List

The Delinquency Templates page displays all templates for your company in a table.

  1. In the left-side menu, click Delinquency Templates.

  2. Click List.

Step 3: Find the Delinquency Template

Each table row shows the template name, description, and status.

  1. Find a delinquency template you want to deactivate in the name column.

ℹ️ Info: The Status column shows which templates are Active and which are Inactive.

Step 4: Open the Edit Delinquency Window

The edit option sits at the right end of each table row.

  1. Click the pencil icon in the row of the template you want to deactivate.

Step 5: Set the Status to Inactive

The Status switcher sits below the Delinquency Name field.

  1. Locate the Status Switcher.

  2. Click Inactive.

⚠️ Warning: A Delinquency Template with active delinquency processes cannot be deactivated - the running processes depend on its rules. In that case, QuikStor displays the message "Cannot deactivate delinquency template since there are active delinquency processes."

Step 6: Save the Changes

Saving applies the new status.

  1. Click Save Changes.

  2. Review the Status column to confirm the status change.

That is it! The Delinquency Templates page shows your template with the Inactive status.
