Gate Commands for PDK Gates
Close, open, and open gate momentarily - right from QuikStor.
Gate access is one of the first things a tenant, vendor, or delivery driver interacts with at a facility, and it's also one of the most disruptive to manage when something needs to change on the fly. A delivery arrives and needs the gate open. A tenant's card isn't working and staff need a quick manual override. A move-in rush means the gate needs to stay accessible for a few minutes longer than usual.
Until now, handling any of that at a PDK-integrated facility meant leaving QuikStor and logging into a separate ProDataKey system just to send a single gate command - an extra login, an extra screen, and an extra step in the middle of something that's already time-sensitive.
QuikStor has long supported direct gate commands for other facilities through the Gate Commands menu. That same menu is now available for facilities using PDK integration.
From the Gate Commands menu, every gate connected to the facility is listed with three actions available on each:
Open Gate – Opens the gate and holds it open indefinitely, until it is closed via either the Close Gate command, or other ways.
Close Gate – Closes the gate immediately.
Open Gate Momentarily – Opens the gate briefly then closes it - open-then-close command.
Every connected gate is listed with Open Gate, Close Gate, and Open Gate Momentarily controls
The result: gate access for PDK facilities can now be managed from the same screen operators already use for everything else, without a separate login or a separate system to check.
Platform Improvements
Faster and More Reliable Reports
Same reports, rebuilt for speed.
Several reports have moved from our MongoDB to SQL under the hood, making them faster to load and easier for us to maintain going forward:
Both the Facility and Corporate versions of each report are covered - the Corporate level articles for each report, linked above, also link to their corresponding Facility level articles.
Pick a Template when Sending Mass Notifications
Reuse approved content instead of writing the same message from scratch every time.
Mass Notifications, Mass Email, Mass SMS, and Mass Document, now support selecting an existing Manual template of the matching type instead of composing the message from scratch. Once a template is selected, its content becomes the message; it isn't editable inline, so the approved wording stays intact for every send.
Select an existing template and its content becomes the message, ready for preview before sending
Before sending, the message can be previewed populated with a selected tenant's (and lease's, when the notification targets leases) actual data - the same preview behavior already available for Manual Email and SMS templates - making it easy to catch a misspelled tag or a formatting issue before it goes out to the full recipient list. At send time, each recipient sees the template populated with their own data.
This means a notification that's already been written and approved once - a rate change notice, a policy update - can be reused for a mass send instead of retyping or copy-pasting it each time.

Enhancements
Selected Item Count now Visible Across Pages
Never lose track of what you've selected, even after changing pages.
Multi-select screens, such as Print Center and the Active Leases page, now show a running count of selected items that persists as you move between pages. Selecting a few items on page one, then a few more on page two, no longer means losing sight of how many items are selected in total.
Print Center screen showing several selected checkboxes and a counter displaying the total number of items selected
This removes the need to manually recount or scroll back through previous pages to confirm what's selected before taking a bulk action - the total is always visible on screen.
Lease Ledger and Past Leases Lists are now Exportable
Take your lease data with you, in the format you need.
The Lease Ledger and Past Leases lists can now be exported directly from the screen, with a new download button offering CSV, XLSX, or PDF format.
Export the Lease Ledger or Past Leases list as CSV, XLSX, or PDF with the new download button
This means lease data that previously had to be viewed on screen - or manually copied out - can now be pulled into a spreadsheet or shared as a document without extra steps.
Live Auction Status on Unit Overview
See a unit's auction status without leaving the unit overview.
The unit overview now shows a unit's auction status directly, using the same badges already shown on the Active Delinquencies list - Live Auction, Sold, No Winning Bid, Manual Auction, and Posting Blocked. Hovering over a badge reveals the same additional detail available on the Active Delinquencies list, such as time remaining, current bid, or winner information, depending on the badge.
Live Auction badge with the hover state captured showing the additional detail
Previously, checking whether a unit was in an active auction meant leaving the unit overview and searching for it on the Active Delinquencies list. Now that status is visible at a glance, right where staff are already looking.
Auction information is only visible to staff with delinquency access, consistent with how this information is already restricted on the Active Delinquencies list.
Search and Copy Selection on Template Assignment Screen
Find templates faster, and stop reassigning the same ones facility by facility.
The Template Assignment screen now supports Search and Copy Selection, across all template types - Trigger, Lease, Manual, and Mass Notification Templates.
Search narrows the template list instantly; Copy Selection applies the same assignments to another facility
Search makes it possible to find a specific template directly instead of scrolling through the full list. Copy Selection lets a manager copy an existing set of template assignments to another facility in one action, instead of reassigning the same templates one at a time for every facility that needs them.
This is especially useful for multi-facility operators standardizing template usage across locations - what used to be repetitive, facility-by-facility setup is now a single copy action.

"Delinquency Template" renamed to "Delinquency Notice Template"
A clearer name for what this template actually does.
The "Delinquency Template" has been renamed to "Delinquency Notice Template" throughout the Templates page, including the Add New drawer title and button label.
The Templates page Add New drop-down, with Delinquency Notice Template visible as both the option label and the drawer title
This makes the template's purpose clearer at a glance - it's used specifically for delinquency notices, and the new name reflects that directly.
"Street Rate" page renamed to "Rate Management"
A name that reflects everything the page actually manages.
The "Street Rate" page under Revenue Management is now called "Rate Management." The page's scope has grown beyond street rate to also include web rate, so the name now reflects what it actually covers rather than just one part of it.
Rate Management now covers both Street Rate and Web Rate under one page
Nothing about the page's functionality has changed - this is a naming update to keep the page consistent with what it manages today.
Web Rate Filter on Rate Management Screen
Filter by web rate, not just street rate.
The Rate Management screen now includes a Web Rate filter alongside the existing Street Rate filter, with Price From and Price To fields for setting a range.
Set a Price From and Price To range to filter units by web rate
This makes it possible to narrow the rate list by Web Rate directly, instead of scanning the full list manually to find units within a specific web rate range.
Secondary Phone Number Tag
Put the right number in front of tenants, even when it's not their primary one.
All templates now support a new tag, {{e.phone2}}, for the tenant's secondary phone number, alongside the existing primary phone number tag. When a document is generated, the tag is replaced with the secondary number on record for that tenant. If no secondary number is on file, the tag resolves to an empty value - the same behavior as the existing primary phone number tag.
The secondary phone number tag now sits alongside the primary number tag when building tenant document templates
This means templates like welcome letters, notices, or account summaries can now reflect a tenant's full contact information on record, without needing a manual edit to add a number the template didn't originally support.
Security Deposit Refund Tag for Move-Out
Show tenants exactly what they're getting back - automatically.
Move-out document templates now support a new tag, {{mo.secdeprefund}}, for the security deposit refund amount. When a move-out is completed, the tag is replaced with the actual amount being refunded to the tenant, so move-out emails, texts, and documents can state the refund figure directly instead of requiring a manual lookup or a separate communication.
The security deposit refund tag is available alongside the existing security deposit tag when building move-out templates
Coverage Amount Tag in Document Templates
Show tenants their actual coverage amount, not just the plan name and price.
Document templates now support a coverage amount tag on every trigger that already supports the coverage name and price tags:
{{m.insamount}}– Move-In{{l.insamount}}– Lease{{mo.insamount}}– Move-Out{{t.ol.insamount}}– Transfer, Old Lease Coverage Amount{{t.nl.insamount}}– Transfer, New Lease Coverage Amount
Each tag resolves to the coverage amount defined on the relevant lease's active coverage plan, formatted as a percentage or a dollar amount depending on how that coverage plan is configured. If the lease has no coverage, the tag resolves to an empty value, consistent with the existing coverage name and price tags.
This means notices, agreements, and transfer documents can now spell out exactly what a tenant's coverage actually covers in dollar or percentage terms — including showing the change in coverage amount across a transfer — instead of just naming the plan and its price.
APIs
isAvailableOnline Property Added to Single Special Response
The isAvailableOnline property is now included in the response body for both single-Special endpoints:
GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/specials/{specialId}GET /api/v2/companies/{companyCode}/facilities/{facilityCode}/specials/{specialId}
Previously, this property was available on the Specials list endpoint but missing from the single-Special detail response. Integrators relying on the single-Special endpoint for special details can now access online availability without a separate list call.
Bug Fixes
Tenant Search under Active Delinquencies
Fixed an issue where the Tenant filter on the Active Delinquencies screen returned tenants with no active delinquency, making it harder to find the tenants the screen is actually meant to surface. The filter now returns only tenants who currently have an active delinquency.
Smarter Email Recipient Search
Fixed an issue where the recipient search in Communication > Emails (at both the Company and Facility level) could show a blank drop-down with no results message, or an incomplete list of valid recipients, even when matching tenants or prospects with an email address existed. The search now returns only recipients who can actually receive an email, and shows the standard "No results" message when none match.
Plus a number of smaller stability improvements. Thanks to everyone who reported issues!
